Another monster success for CryoService’s Leisure division has been the recent installation of their innovative Accellarate cellar gas systems into the DHP Group venues. DHP Group were formed in 1980 and are one of the UK’s leading concert promoters, staging around 1500 shows each year across their six specialised concert venues in Nottingham and Bristol. These venues include Rock City, Rescue Rooms, Stealth, The Bodega Social Club, The Rig and Thekla.
The Thekla club provided some interesting challenges to the CryoService installation team since it’s based on a ship that is moored in Bristol’s Mud Dock. But it was no problem for CryoService as Gary Creed, Business Manager for the Leisure division comments, "I don’t think we’ve ever had to deal with a floating venue before but the beauty of the Accellarate systems are their flexibility, both in how they can be used and their installation parameters." Julie Tippins, Operations Manager of DHP Group concurs with Gary’s views, "One of the great things about the CryoService Accellarate range is that they can run multiple bars – or even multiple venues – from one system, which saves a lot of valuable space as well as the time saving of not continually changing over cylinders."
