E-Learning for Cellar Gases CryoService, working in conjunction with their training partners Gas Safe Consultants Ltd have launched a revolutionary on-line e-learning programme to identify and address the risks associated with cellar gases in typical licenced and soft drinks applications and raise awareness of industry best practice. "Using Cellar Gases Safely" allows users to learn at their own pace in their work or home environment. It provides essential information on the subject matter in a highly interactive manner and incorporates a multiple choice test to confirm the knowledge gained throughout the course. If the pass rate is achieved the student receives a course certificate and training material for future reference. Three Modules Covering All Aspects of Drinks Gases The course has been developed around three key modules, aimed to address the broad subject of the safe use of gases in the cellar environment: Module 1.Cellar Gas – Safety Principles. This provides essential background information on gases, why they are used in the cellar, the risks associated with gases and how to apply best practice (including risk assessments) to improve safe working conditions.   Module 2. Working Safely With Gas Cylinders. This looks at the safe use of traditional compressed gas cylinders in the cellar environment, including practical advice on storage, changeover and handling of cylinders and references industry best practice as promoted by the British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA).   Module 3. Working Safely with CryoService Accellarate Systems. The final module focuses on the features and operation of CryoService’s innovative Accellarate cellar gas systems, which eliminate the use of cylinders in the cellar environment.
