CryoService, working in conjunction with their training partners Gas Safe Consultants Ltd have developed and launched a revolutionary on-line training programme called "Using Cellar Gases Safely". This course helps retailers identify and address the Health and Safety risks associated with cellar gases in typical licenced and soft drinks applications and raises awareness of health and safety legislation and industry best practice.
The official launch was held at the Coach and Horses Hotel, a prestigious Young’s venue (and CryoService customer) in Richmond, Surrey on the 19th May 2010, which was well attended by respected professionals and trade press from the Leisure industry. A separate launch for the Scottish market will be held on the 15th June 2010 at Macdonald’s Crutherland House hotel in East Kilbride.
Commenting on the course, Bill Epsley, Commercial Manager of Young’s said, "We believe that this course will be a major benefit to responsible pub operators, ourselves included. It allows staff to be trained at convenient times and the content covers all aspects of cellar gas safety".
Gary Creed, Leisure Business Manager for CryoService remarked, "The launch went extremely well and highlighted the demand for safety training in this sector. We have high expectations for this course and are proud to be the safety innovators in the marketplace".
